Carla van Beveren (Course Administrator) is a team member of the Course Bureau. For many years she was assistant librarian and from 2004 onwards she has become a team member of the Course Bureau, working in close liaison with Cocky Adams. She is in charge of the organization and administrative support as well as implementation of the short courses, providing the required support to course managers and participants. She manages in-coming applications, prepares admission letters as well as visa requests making sure that participants can travel to IHS without problems. She is also in charge of preparing readers/handouts, arranging of excursions, diplomas/transcripts and all needed support during course implementation. She also provides assistance to the participant’s officer when participants request individual assistance in health insurance and health care.
