SADC Region Refresher Course

Introduction

SADC Region (South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Botswana, Swaziland, Malawi, Angola, Zambia, Lesotho, Tanzania, Mauritius): “Harnessing the Added Value of Public Private Partnerships in Urban Infrastructure Provision in the SADC Region”.

This refresher course, which will take place from 26 October to 08 November 2008 in Maputo, Mozambique, will explore in detail the various aspects of public private partnerships (PPPs) for the provision of urban infrastructure. The course is also intended to provide a structured forum for professionals in the infrastructure provision field to share ideas about how to benefit from PPPs in urban infrastructure provision. The proposed training programme will be organized and implemented by IHS and Eduardo Mondlane University.
