It is with great pleasure that we send you the announcement of the Refresher course “Making Urban Settlements Work for the Poor - Were land reforms enough in West Africa?” The refresher course is sponsored by NUFFIC for NFP alumni, aiming to increase the impact and prolong the effect of earlier NFP-funded training.
This announced refresher course will take place in Kumasi, Ghana, from 25 October to 5 November 2010. The course will be hosted by the Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS) in close collaboration with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). The official language of the course is English, and there are 20 places available.
All alumni who previously benefited from an NFP fellowship, currently working in West Africa region, including Ghana, Senegal, Guinea-Bissau, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Cape Verde, and Burkina Faso, may be eligible to apply to participate in this refresher course.
