IHS Alumni Association Nigeria: kick off

IHS Alumni Association Nigeria; first meeting!

I am very pleased to invite you to this inaugural meeting of the IHS Alumni, Nigeria.
I believe quite a number of you are are aware of the initiatives being made by IHS to form a dynamic Alumni Association both at International and Local/National Levels.

Dear Alumni,

The IHS Alumni International is getting established on a very strong foundation through the efforts of Christiana and Sarah in Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands. Similarly countries are equally being encouraged to form their National/local Alumni groups to foster greater collaboration at Local, Regional and International Levels. Already quite a number of countries have established their own.

In 2009, IHS constituted and interim committee to help establish the IHS Alumni Nigeria. This group has had several meetings since then and now desire to present an interim report and some operational guidelines for comments and eventual ratification.

It is in view of the above that we are inviting all Alumni to come for the first meeting of Nigerian Alumni with details as follows

Venue: UN-House, Abuja
Date:   Monday, 8th March, 2010
Time:   2:00 - 4:00pm

(Please note that we will start on time so endeavor to be on time. All your names will be at the security gate for ease of access into the building)

I want to appeal that if you know any Alumni who might not have received this information please do let him/her know about this meeting.
