The course was highly successful, thanks to the wide variety of our professional alumni from private and public sectors, academics and NGOs. Local experts provided an excellent insight into the interventions undertaking in Johannesburg. The inner-city of Johannesburg provided an excellent platform to study many different aspects of inner-city revitalization, such as housing, planning, infrastructure, security of tenure, gender inclusiveness and sustainable development. The successful cooperation between IHS and the School of Architecture of WITS University continues with other activities.
