IHS Refresher Courses 2012 - Philippines, Uganda
IHS educates and trains the innovative urban professionals of the future! After their graduation, IHS alumni are offered the chance to stay up-to-date and refresh their knowledge since Urban Management and Development is a fast evolving sector.
Therefore, as in every year, IHS organizes refresher courses for its alumni in Uganda and the Philippines in October and November 2012 respectively.

Fellowships for NFP alumni
All alumni who previously benefited from an NFP, NPT, NICHE or MENA fellowship at any Dutch institute are eligible to apply for a fellowship to participate in this refresher course. Conditions to apply are as following:
-Participants must have a relevant professional background, housing professionals occupying positions in different sectors of society, namely local and national government, private sector and NGOs. Participants will be chosen according to their professional experience and motivation statement on PPP arrangements for the delivery of a particular urban service in your city or country.
-You have attended a course at IHS or other Dutch Higher Education institute funded by NFP, NPT, NICHE or MENA and graduated before November 2010;
-Any of these alumni can also ask a colleague to apply together. This colleague does not have to be a NFP, NPT, NICHE or MENA Alumnus;
If you are not an NFP, NPT, NICHE or MENA alumnus or you graduated too recently from IHS to be eligible and you can secure your own means to finance your participation in the refresher course, you are also welcome to apply. Your admission depends on the number of places available on the course and your motivation statement and your relevant working experience/ position.

• Three main documents: 1) your application form with employer endorsement (if applicable), 2) your recent curriculum vitae. 3) An abstract for a case study focusing on a PPP arrangement in your own city/ country. A motivation statement is part of the application form.
