These modules within the IHS series "Innovations in Financing Cities" will provide participants with concepts and principles in the use of one of the three innovations in financing urban public projects:

They are designed to be a 2 weeks instructor-led module. Participants will be expected to devote about 12 hours each week on an average to do their readings and to interact with the instructor and other participants. The modules have been designed to include a number of interactive activities that would facilitate peer-learning among an international group of cohorts through the use of online discussion forums, role-playing games, wikis, group exercises etc. The goal of this series of courses is to expose to the participants to provide them with the underlying principles of each financing innovation so that they can improvise them to match the needs of their own cities.
