IHS pays tribute to individuals who have been associated to the institute and who have excelled in their field of activity and have promoted the institute's mission abroad and in their own country. They are alumni, counterparts and former staff whose career development is associated to the work they carried out during their stay at IHS.

IHS is proud to have amongst its group of alumni professionals who have become mayors, ministers, prominent professionals, and NGO activists in various countries. IHS has the honour to have worked with prominent practitioners and government officials who dedicated to the mission of making cities work, and who have supported the institute's development goals. IHS is also proud to have many of its former staff working in Dutch municipalities, occupying key positions and working as prominent consultants.
