Affordable Housing, Liveable Cities Conference

India is on a mission to provide 20 million homes in cities, by 2022, through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana project. This is a tough challenge, which brings along other complex questions related to finance, design and technology, infrastructure and land issues, as well as local communities and their potential for getting involved.

These issues will be the main drivers of the dialogue during the "Affordable Housing, Liveable Cities Conference", which takes place in Mumbai, India, on the 21st and 22nd of November.

IHS is involved in this event as a knowledge partner and IHS staff Alexander Jachnow, Ellen Geurts, associate staff member Banashree Banerjee and IHS alumnus Andrea Fitrianto will all be present as speakers, panelists and workshop coordinators.
