About the scholarship
The LPDP - Netherlands Master Program is a partnership scholarship between LPDP and the Government of the Netherlands to study at several universities, especially for master's study programmes.
What does the scholarship cover?
The scholarship covers both academic costs such as tuition & registration fees and book allowance and practical costs such as monthly living allowance, flight/transport support, visa and health insurance.
Am I eligible?
The scholarship applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Indonesian citizen, living and working in Indonesia, and willing to return to Indonesia upon graduation from the program;
- Education background: S1/D4, minimal GPA: 3.0;
- (Un)conditional Letter of Admission (LoA);
- TOEFL IBT ≥90 or IELTS ≥6.5, valid for 2 years from the date of the test;
- Mid-career professional, maximum 35 years old by 31 December 2023;
- Not intended for joint-program, part-time study program, pre-master or distance learning;
- Not currently pursuing or already obtained a master's degree.
What documents do I need?
- Personal & academic: ID card, Bachelor diploma, Academic transcript, GPA proof
- Language: IELTS or TOEFL iBT certificate
- University: Proof of applying to Dutch university or LoA if already received
- Letters: Recommendation letter
- Writing: Personal statement and Commitment to return & contribution plan (1500–2000 words). In this second essay you must explain how you will contribute to Indonesia in sectors like:
- food security
- energy
- health
- digitalisation
- maritime
- manufacturing
- etc.
How do I apply?
Interested candidates need to apply to IHS by 22 February 2026 and to LPDP to qualify for this scholarship. The LPDP online application system is open from 22 January to 23 February 2026.
