IHS, the Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies and the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences (ESSB) are proud to announce that the new MSc. Programme on Urban Governance was launched last Friday.
Besides Dutch participants, the new MSc in "Public Administration: Urban Governance specialisation" attracted people from diverse backgrounds, and countries like America, Bulgaria, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, and Ukraine.
Next to having access to the most recent theoretical and empirical insights, the students will also develop their practical and professional skills in the urban governance labs. In addition to working group sessions and seminars, fieldwork and experience transfer from experts in the field are part of the teaching methods.
“This new master programme offers an opportunity to learn how to develop innovative urban policies and appropriate management strategies” said Dr. Ingmar van Meerkerk, programme coordinator.
