On our floor we have a multi functional area comprised of a library and information centre, working areas for students, with photocopy and scanning facilities. It is also possible to view DVDs, slides, and CD-ROMs. There is a data projector where special exercises and digital training can be performed. After hours the area is used for social functions, making use of the bar, television and seating areas. IHS’ very unique specialized library has more than 58,000 records registered in an electronic catalogue. Course participants and staff (as well as visitors and researchers) can make use of the library's resources, although visitors from outside IHS should contact in advance one of the IHS librarians for an appointment..

IHS students are welcome to also make use of the newly renovated Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) library which is conveniently located on campus. The University Library has three levels: -1, 0 and +1. These are divided into an east and west side: East and West. East is a quiet area. Here you will find study areas to study individually and quietly. In West you can study as well, but also discuss and work together.
