IHS Alumni Impact Award

About the award

The IHS Alumni Impact Award aims to showcase and support worldwide initiatives and projects of IHS alumni, which make an impact on the local community. It is a celebration of city changers and inspiring urban initiatives. This year, the award will take place in November 2024, in Cairo, Egypt, during the World Urban Forum.

The IHS Alumni Impact Award competition is now open for submissions!
We welcome worldwide applicants, with a special focus on African countries. If you are an IHS Alumnus and the founder of a small-scale urban project or initiative, don't hesitate to enter the competition and get a chance to win the €3000 prize.

  • it aligns with SDG11 and the three core themes of the World Urban Forum: Urban Sustainability, Resilience and Inclusion.
