After 60 years of experience providing trainings & capacity building programmes across the world, IHS is now partnering with 4MYCITY consulting, an urban innovation start-up, to start an Executive Program of Urban Leadership and Innovation. This program aims to train 1000 Latin American leaders and 5000 global leaders between 2020-2025. You can join the first Executive Course: Urban Innovation and Smart Governance targeted to LAC professionals or global practitioners focusing on the LAC region.
This course will showcase urban innovations in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht and Houten in April, 2020. The early bird deadline closes the 31 of January 2020.
Participants will interact with European and Latin American academics and urban leaders from different fields as well as get a first-hand learning experience visiting four different cities in The Netherlands. We are aware that there are fantastic urban leaders such as mayors, city council members, heard of urban organizations, academics and CEOs of companies who might benefit more from learning in their mother tongue. For this reason, all the lectures, workshops and professional visits will be in Spanish or in English with simultaneous translation.

- Smart Urban Governance
- Urban Innovations
- Circular Economy and Integrated Solid Waste Management
- Sustainable Mobility and Public Spaces
- Climate Change, Urban Resilience, and Water Management
- Methodologies of design, implementation, and monitoring of urban innovation projects in LAC.
After completing the course, participants will get access to an exclusive network of executives and urban leaders. This network will be active from April 2020 until December 2025 and will include participants from the different courses and projects developed under this program. The purpose of this network is to exchange urban expertise and accelerate urban innovations in Latin America and across the world.
