The Conclave will bring together internationally renowned artists, urbanists, designers, academics, and activists to reflect on how public spaces can bridge differences and foster inclusivity.
The event will be held at Tokaroun, Santiniketan, a town inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2023. Founded by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore, Santiniketan embodies a unique vision of inclusivity, blending education, culture, nature, and heritage. Hosting the Conclave here reflects this spirit of openness and cross-cultural exchange.
Participants will also have the opportunity to join hands-on Masterclass sessions, working in small groups to reimagine public spaces through design, programming, and management.

Talks and discussions on how art and culture can foster connection, featuring sculptor KS Radhakrishnan, art historian R. Sivakumar, and legendary photographer Raghu Rai.
Nature & Landscape
Exploring shared spaces and resilience with Kelly Shannon, Bruno de Meulder, and environmentalist Mohan Rao.
History & Heritage
Insights from Vinayak Bharne, Gurmeet Sangha Rai, conservation architect Kamalika Bose, and historian Saptarshi Sanyal.
Public Spaces for All
Discussions on accessibility as a birthright, gender inclusion with Maartje van Eerd, Senior Specialist in Housing and Social Development at IHS and short presentations of unique initiatives from across India.
Masterclass Exercise
Daily interactive workshops where participants design and reimagine public spaces, guided by the My Liveable City team.
