Join one of the four urban management master tracks at IHS!

IHS is now offering four Master tracks as part of the MSc in Urban Management & Development. The new tracks allow IHS students to follow a topic of their interest, specialising even further in one of the four themes: urban planning, digital transformation, environment and climate change, and housing and land. Participants will learn from real-life case studies and discuss urban issues and trends from around the world while linking their knowledge and expertise to their thesis research.

The MSc in Urban Management and Development is a 1-year English-taught multidisciplinary programme featuring four master tracks offered by IHS. Next to high-quality academic content, the programme includes an intensive skills stream designed to equip the students with job-market-demanded skills. The programme is a great opportunity to learn from urban policy advisors and real-life case studies while studying at a top-100 university.

The academic year is organised in four blocks. Students will get the latest insights into urban development during the first part of the programme. During the second and third blocks, the focus is on gaining in-depth knowledge about track-specific topics. In addition, the programme will strengthen your research skills through research design courses and workshops. The fourth block will be entirely dedicated to you writing your thesis.
