IJURR Foundation Scholarship

IJURR Foundation promotes urban and regional research. Within this broad field, it is particularly keen to encourage an understanding of the interconnection between social, economic, and political processes and their broader causes and effects. 

How much is the scholarship?

The value of this studentship is currently up to £12,000 per annum, paid in 3 instalments. Unfortunately, the foundation does not give additional support towards travel expenses.

Am I eligible?

Eligibility criteria:

  • Postgraduate research students working within the field of urban and regional studies
  • Nationality of a low-income or middle-income country as classified by the World Bank (For full details, please see here)
  • Preference will be given to students who completed their first degree (BA/BSc) in their home country or another low or middle-income country.

How do I apply?

To apply to the scholarship, applicants must complete the IJURR Foundation online application form by 31st January, attaching two professional references and the unconditional offer from the program they intend to study.
