Making sense of cities: a guide to digital urban information sources on the Global South

There are few publications that specifically focus on sharing information about urban development in the Global South. One online publication that could serve as a useful point of departure is the following:

Brown, A. (2015). Topic guide: planning for sustainable and inclusive cities in the Global South. London: Evidence on Demand. https://doi.org/10.12774/eod_tg.march2015.browna

The bibliography of the above publication includes many references to key authors writing about the urban planning issues of the Global South.

The aim of this online resource, however, is to consolidate on the work undertaken there and to point IHS Academic Staff and the participants of IHS’ educational programmes in the direction of the ever-increasing range of digital resources on housing and urban development in the Global South, that are now currently available to them when they work or study at IHS.
