Rienje Veenhof is the Academic Assistant within the Urban Sustainability and Climate Change Resilience department at IHS. 

She recently graduated in Human Geography, with a specialization in Urban Geography, at Utrecht University. Her thesis focused on spatial analyses of the housing market in the Netherlands, especially looking at building styles and price effects. She also is a graduate of Geo-Information Science at Wageningen University, where her thesis investigated recent electoral geographies in the Netherlands. She did her bachelor’s in Human Geography and Spatial Planning at Utrecht University. Her interests include urban development, housing studies and electoral geography, especially when spatial, qualitative and quantitative methods are combined.
